We are currently hiring for full or part time positions in the Mental Health field providing therapeutic services to individuals of all ages in St. Clair County. The position offers a flexible schedule, access to free Clinical training, individual and relationship building with other service providers in the community. The position entails a combination of in-person and remote work, with the ability to set most of your own schedule. The position requires a Master’s Degree in the Human Services field (Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology) with a clinical license (LMSW, PHD, LPC, LP). Flexibility is essential, organization with scheduling is key, and the ability to work evening hours is required. Life is short, work somewhere you will love!

Substance Use Disorder Family Support Specialist
PCC would love to have you fill our full-time position in our new Substance Use Disorder Program! This program works throughout the Thumb region providing recovery support and education to families with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
This role requires a Bachelor’s degree with a major in social work, sociology, psychology, family ecology, consumer/community services, family studies, family and/or child development, guidance/school counseling, counseling psychology, or criminal justice. Within three months of hire you will begin your journey to become a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) by starting a Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) approved development plan.
You will provide face to face counseling to families using motivational interviewing, working to assist clients as they move toward recovery. You will help families by increasing their stability with skill based interventions, educating on substance use topics, and reducing the overall risk in the home. Responsibilities include preparing reports and case records within the appropriate time frames, and developing comprehensive treatment plans to help families reach their goals. You will work with your clients to create a work schedule that fits your lifestyle, as this position is truly flexible!
This role requires you to have a reliable vehicle and a valid license (mileage reimbursement monthly), flexibility in scheduling, and availability to work occasional evening hours. This position allows you the ability to complete the majority of your work away from the office, comes with many competitive benefits, and has the opportunity for paid training. The position offers a pay range of $38,000 – $40,000 depending on education and experience.
