Outpatient Therapist

We are currently hiring for full or part time positions in the Mental Health field providing  therapeutic services to individuals of all ages in St. Clair County. The position entails a combination of in-person and remote work, with the ability to set most of your own schedule.  The position requires a Master’s Degree in the Human Services field (Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology) with a clinical license (LMSW, PHD, LPC, LP). Family Preservation Program Supervisor

PCC is seeking a person to supervise Family Preservation staff and oversee operations of programs in a full or part time capacity. The position would have you providing supervision for programs that cover St. Clair and Sanilac Counties, for families whose children are impacted by neglect and/or abuse. You will provide staff with direct supervision,training, hire and onboard incoming employees, maintain case records, and participate in supervisory activities within the agency and in the community. 

You will set some of your own schedule, combining in person and remote work. A Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services field is required along with a minimum of 2 year(s) of experience providing direct client services in the human services field. The ability to pass a background check is required, and you must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle. Flexibility is essential, and organization with personal tasks is key. Family Preservation Program Worker

PCC would love to have you fill our part-time position (25-30 hr) in the successful Family Assistance Program!

A Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field along with two years of experience working with at-risk families is required to fill this position. The families we serve often need education on parenting, household management, relationship struggles, nutrition, budgeting, and other skills. You would be responsible for providing in-home case management and strength focused interventions to families in St. Clair and Sanilac Counties. Cases include recently closed or open CPS, foster care out-of-home placement with the goal of reunification, and removal prevention. You will work with your clients to create a work schedule that fits your lifestyle, as this position is truly flexible! This program is very unique offering both supervised visitation between the parent and child and education.

This role requires you to have a reliable vehicle and a license (mileage reimbursement monthly), flexibility in scheduling, and availability to work occasional evening hours. In this position you could complete roughly 50% of your work remotely and would be eligible for many competitive benefits. The position pays $17-19/hr, depending on education and experience. Parenting Time Support Services (PTSS) Worker Position

Join our family oriented team where you help others in Huron, Lapeer and Tuscola Counties, while building your experience in the social work and human services field. Professional Counseling Center (PCC) is offering this exciting entry level position to motivated individuals who are invested in empowering families to be strong, loving, and independent. PCC is seeking 20-30 hours per week in this role, some afternoons and evenings are required. The Parenting Time Visitation Support Services Program provides supervised parenting time for parents and children. In this program you will provide guidance for parents to increase their confidence and competence in their parenting abilities to successfully nurture their children and provide them with a healthy and safe environment. This position is ideal if you are interested in a future in social work, crisis intervention, or family education. PCC offers great opportunities for networking, education, and training. 

 

PCC is an established provider in the community with opportunities for advancement within. This opening does offer flexible work locations, approximately 40%. This is an ideal position if you are currently furthering your education or looking for part time employment. Mileage and partial phone reimbursement is provided. Pay begins at $13/hr.

Family Reunification Program Family Worker

We are searching for a full-time Human Services Professional to provide case management interventions in St. Clair and Sanilac Counties to families whose children are returning from foster care. This is your chance to change a family or a child’s life! You will provide families with interventions that may include: budgeting, resume building and employment searches, applying for benefits, parenting education and modeling, evidence-based solution focused brief therapy, safety planning, chore, structure, and routine development, mental health needs, and home hygiene. Take advantage of this role’s flexible schedule, access to free human services training, individual and group supervision, and the opportunity to build relationships with other service providers in the community!

You will set most of your own schedule, combining in person and remote work. You will work with a maximum of five families for two face-to-face hours each week. You will be required to complete case documentation, and will work alongside a clinically trained Team Leader on each case. A Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services field is required (Social Work degree preferred.) Substance Use Disorder Family Support Supervisor

Are you looking for a flexible supervisory position that allows you to work from home for much of the role? Professional Counseling Center would love to have you fill our full-time supervisor role for our Substance Use Disorder Family Support Program.

 

In this role you will be providing clinical guidance and support to staff who are working throughout the Thumb region providing in-home clinical services with CPS involved families. You will be responsible for providing clinical supervision, reviewing reports within the appropriate time frames, reviewing case records, and ensuring program outcomes are met.

 

This position requires a Master’s degree with a major in one of the following human services areas: social work, sociology, psychology, family ecology, consumer/community services, family studies, family and/or child development, guidance/school counseling, counseling psychology, or criminal justice. A MCBAP approved Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) certification is required (individuals on or qualifying for a CCS Development Plan may be eligible). In addition, one of the following certifications is necessary: Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) or a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), or Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional (CCDP).

 

The position offers $30-33/hr depending on education and experience. In addition, you will be able to work with your staff in order to create a work schedule that fits your lifestyle, as this position offers flexibility!
