Outpatient Therapist

Master Level Home Based Therapist

Family Assistance Program Worker

PCC would love to have you fill our part-time position (20-30 hr) in the successful Family Assistance Program!

A Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field along with two years of experience working with at-risk families is required to fill this position. The families we serve often need education on parenting, household management, relationship struggles, nutrition, budgeting, and other skills. You would be responsible for providing in-home case management and strength focused interventions to families in St. Clair and Sanilac Counties. Cases include recently closed or open CPS, foster care out-of-home placement with the goal of reunification, and removal prevention. You will work with your clients to create a work schedule that fits your lifestyle, as this position is truly flexible! This program is very unique offering both supervised visitation between the parent and child and education.

This role requires you to have a reliable vehicle and a license (mileage reimbursement monthly), flexibility in scheduling, and availability to work occasional evening hours. In this position you could complete roughly 50% of your work remotely and would be eligible for many competitive benefits. The position starts at $17/hr, depending on education and experience. Substance Use Disorder Family Support Specialist

PCC would love to have you fill our full-time position in our new Substance Use Disorder Program! This program works throughout the Thumb region providing recovery support and education to families with substance use and co-occurring disorders.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree with a major in social work, sociology, psychology, family ecology, consumer/community services, family studies, family and/or child development, guidance/school counseling, counseling psychology, or criminal justice. Within three months of hire you will begin your journey to become a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) by starting a Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) approved development plan. 

You will provide face to face counseling to families using motivational interviewing, working to assist clients as they move toward recovery. You will help families by increasing their stability with skill based interventions, educating on substance use topics, and reducing the overall risk in the home. Responsibilities include preparing reports and case records within the appropriate time frames, and developing comprehensive treatment plans to help families reach their goals. You will work with your clients to create a work schedule that fits your lifestyle, as this position is truly flexible! 

This role requires you to have a reliable vehicle and a valid license (mileage reimbursement monthly), flexibility in scheduling, and availability to work occasional evening hours. This position allows you the ability to complete the majority of your work away from the office, comes with many competitive benefits, and has the opportunity for paid training. The position offers a pay range of $38,000 – $40,000 depending on education and experience. Part Time Bachelor Level Life Skills Worker

PCC is seeking a dedicated person to fill a part-time position (20-30 hr) in our Sanilac County Life Skills Program. You are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field along with a minimum of 2 year(s) of experience providing direct client services in the human services field. You also need to possess basic knowledge, and the ability to access community resources that address basic needs such as food, shelter, education and employment, and shall be familiar with the laws and rules which apply to MDHHS. You will be responsible for providing in-home case management and strength focused interventions to families in Sanilac County. Cases include Child Protective Services, Foster Care, Juvenile Justice, and Youth In Transition. 

 

This role requires a vehicle and license, flexibility in work schedule and availability to work occasional evening hours. You will work with your clients to create a work schedule that fits your lifestyle. This position offers the ability to do some work from home. $17-19/hr offered, depending on education and experience, along with monthly mileage reimbursement and phone reimbursement. You will receive paid on-the-job training and supervision.
