Master Level Outpatient Therapist

Master Level Home Based Therapist

Parent Partner

PCC is seeking a full-time parent partner for the new MiFamily Together contract, working out of St. Clair and Sanilac Counties. The parent partner is a unique role that provides advocacy and education through lived experience to referred parents involved in MDHHS. PCC is seeking a person with a past open CPS or foster care case that was successfully closed, who is willing to share parenting experiences as a learning opportunity for other parents, community partners, and referring workers.

The parent partner will meet families in their home for 1-hour visits to provide education/interventions, attend required PCC meetings and trainings, and collaborate with a team of other MFT staff. Most tasks outside of home visits can be done remotely on a flexible schedule. 

The parent partner must have a GED or diploma, vehicle/license, and ability to provide a flexible schedule, working some evenings and the occasional weekend. Hourly pay rate is $15-18/hr based on experience and education. The parent partner must pass a criminal background check and a Children’s Protective Services background check, and cannot have a felony conviction or be placed on the Central Registry.

Parenting Time Visitation Services Worker

We are seeking a part-time Human Services Professional to provide parenting time visitation services in Huron, Lapeer, and Tuscola Counties to families currently struggling with various challenges. Professional Counseling Center (PCC) is offering this exciting entry level position to motivated individuals who are invested in empowering families to be strong, loving, and independent. PCC is seeking 15-30 hours per week in this role, afternoons and evenings required. The Parenting Time Visitation Support Services Program provides supervised parenting time for parents and children. In this program you will provide guidance for parents to increase their confidence and competence in their parenting abilities to successfully nurture their children and provide them with a healthy and safe environment. This position is ideal if you are interested in a future in social work, crisis intervention, or family education. PCC offers great opportunities for networking, education, and training. 

You will set most of your own schedule, combining in-person interactions and clerical tasks from flexible locations. You will work with assigned families for a minimum of one face-to-face hour each week. You will be required to complete case documentation and supervision with the program supervisor. A High School diploma or GED is required. A valid driver’s license and vehicle is required, and you must pass a criminal history background review.  Flexibility is essential, organization with scheduling is key, and the ability to work evenings and occasional weekend hours is important.

Part-Time Bachelor-Level Life Skills Worker

You are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field along with a minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct client services in the human services field. You will be responsible for providing in-home case management and strengths-focused interventions to families in Sanilac County. Cases include Child Protective Services, Foster Care, Juvenile Justice, and Youth In Transition. 

This role requires a vehicle and a license, flexibility in the work schedule, and availability to work occasional evening hours. You will work with your clients to create a work schedule that fits your lifestyle. This position offers the ability to do some work from home. Pay starts at 19.24/hr, depending on education and experience, with monthly mileage and phone reimbursements. You will receive paid on-the-job training and supervision.
