What is supervision?
Clinical supervision provides support and guidance throughout the working relationship, with the overall goal of the Limited License Counselor becoming competent in all areas of the counseling field. Each Limited License Counselor is supervised by a fully Licensed Counselor in order to gain knowledge in such topics that range from ethics, evidenced based approaches,communication, treatment planning, case management, Etc..
What is the requirement?
A Limited License Counselor must accrue 3,000 hours of post-degree counseling experience in not less than a two-year period with at least 100 hours accrued in the immediate physical presence of the supervisor.
How often does Clinical Supervision need to occur?
Utilizing a blended supervision model, these one-on-one supervision sessions are one hour in length and typically are conducted on a weekly basis (aside from holidays, vacations, etc). Options to meet in person at our Port Huron office and/or virtually via Google Meet.
What is the cost of supervision?
At Professional Counseling Center the supervision rate is $100 per session.

Supervision services are provided at Professional Counseling Center in Port Huron, MI. Supervision may also be conducted remotely via Google Meet.
LLMSW Supervision:
What is supervision?
Clinical supervision provides a supportive learning environment to assist the Limited License Social Worker in becoming competent in all areas of the social work field, both for macro or clinical. EachLimited License Social Worker is supervised by a fully Licensed Social Worker in order to gain knowledge in such topics that range from ethics, evidenced based approaches, communication, treatment planning, case management, Etc..
What is the requirement?
A Limited License Social worker has to have no less than 16 hours but no more than 40 hours a week. A LLMSW can earn up to 2,000 hours of social work experience per year.
How often does Clinical Supervision need to occur?
A supervisor review must be conducted at least 4 hours per month with at least 2 hours of individual review. Supervision also can be conducted in a group setting as long as 50% of the group supervision includes individual contact in which actions of limited license are reviewed.
